and they can't be lol since he has to have them sandblasted .. the few painters i know don't have any sandblasting equipment but i guess they shouldve told him if he could get it blasted then they could paint them just gotta be careful chrome is a hard thing to blast off from what i hear ... very easy to pit the metal and bondo is not something you would want on your bumper

and as far as buying parts and then taking them to be painted... I was shot down by 3 shops when I was looking to get my grille painted because they told me that by me buying the parts and them painting them they lose money.. They told me that they make a cut by ordering parts for people and them painting them.. So they are losing money by me supplying the parts.. pretty lame huh?

Yea I ran into that around here a bit when trying to get my Tbird hood painted. No one wants to do little stuff, they want to do the whole car because there's more money in it. You just have to ask around enough until you find someone.

Well it's the friend deal. The Sandblasting is $70/hr at a sandblasting company I found in the yellow pages, The paint is about $100/qt. and my friend already has the primer, clearcoat and all the other stuff. So depending upon what he will let me pay him, I will be out $200-$400 range.

We can do the bumper swap at my place or yours and it should only take an hour at most.
Requirements: Your front bumper must be the foglight version, like mine pictured below.
Not Required: On the rear bumper, I prefer one with exhaust cut-outs and sensors, but it's not mandatory. If we make a deal and your bumper doesn't have exhaust cutouts, I will include the exhaust tips, but you will need an exhaust shop to install them for you.
Please email me at [email protected] if you are interested and please include a picture of your bumpers if you have any.
Here is a picture of the bumpers you will be getting:

I would love to swap with you except our front bumpers are not interchangeable. I'm pretty sure the rear bumpers with.
