got me a new rt
It's been awhile since i've been on here, but I got me a new RT truck a couple weeks ago. Going to keep it pretty simple
-Plans-
full exhaust
tuner
ported tb
shave emblem in tailgate
tonneau with sport wing (lip)
painted headlights
lowered
24x15s in the rear
24x10 up front
Here's a little teaser. Should have the major stuff done by the end of the year if not sooner

do you have to tub it to fit 15" wide wheels in the back, or will they clear, and tuck?

Thanks.
And yes there will be a little work to be done to get the wide wheels to fit. I took a quick glance at it the other day. Bed will be tubbed, frame will be new and narrowed from the back of the cab to the rear, new rear suspension, axle narrowed. Hopefully I can keep the stock tank, I didn't spend enough time under it to tell. I'm hoping to get about a 3/5 or 4/6 drop out of it, the 24" tires are the same diameter as the stock 22s, I think I'll be able to get away without raising the bedfloor any if I suck the new frame up as tight to it as I can.
Originally I was wanting to do coilovers front/rear so I could dial in the suspension. But with the wheel size I want this will never be a "performance truck" just a wannabe. So I'll keep the coils up front and if they will fit, in the rear. I'm pretty sure the Belltech springs are progressive rate, so they'll ride just as good as a tuned coilovers with a good shock next to them.

Little update-
The truck has been lowered 3/5 for awhile now.
There's a pile of performance parts in the shop, and more on the way in the mail.
I found out the new body style comes out for 2017, so they should be available in about 16 months or so. So I think i'm going to ditch the billets on this truck, and use that money to help get it paid off. Then get me a nbs when they first come out

Yeah, I'm going to have a hard time ignoring a 2017 since my truck will have been paid off for a while by then. Has anything been released about styling yet?

I hope I don't like the 5th gens... I really need to keep this truck longer than two years!
