Pulling my trailer, it drones a little but not annoying. I definitely wouldn't want the 18" muffler. I almost ordered that one, glad I went with the 22. Running empty it's great. No drone at all until you give it some throttle. Sounds perfect I think. I'd say the 22" dumped out the side is about like an 18" out the back...
