Race engine?

Alright. Here's the deal. My buddy is running low on funds and has a 4 bolt main small block Chevy bored .030 over In running condition. It's dirty but that's all thats really wrong with it. My question is could I buy the engine ($300) build it (cam, crank, head work, roller rockers, intake, carb, make it pretty, etc...) and sell it for what I'd have in it? Or do I need to stick to the green fueled motors????

Ugh...would be perfect for my S10...if I get one.

I'll build it of you pay for it!!!!

unless you stuff it full of cheepo parts, I don't think you can make much money with it...350's are still a dime a dozen

$300 is too high especially without a rotating assembly...I'm thinking more along the lines of $150-175 (200 with heads)

It's a complete engine. Everything but headers.

Pan to intake yes. Said it was rebuilt before he put it in storage. And idk about the one or two piece main.
