Run Times

This is the thread where everyone can post up 0-60, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile times and fastest speed :rockit:

I'll start...

0-60: 9 sec.

1/8 mile: 11 sec. at 64 MPH

1/4 mile: 17 sec. at 86 MPH

Fastest speed: 105 MPH

BMRbrnSNRbrd 09-09-2011 11:00 PM

What are you using to get your times?

ramthis9501 09-09-2011 11:01 PM

The app on my phone " Torque" its supposed to be very accurate

BMRbrnSNRbrd 09-09-2011 11:05 PM

I'm sorry, but there's no way...it's not even showing anything over a full second measurement...

ramthis9501 09-09-2011 11:07 PM

So is it reading to fast? To slow?

BMRbrnSNRbrd 09-09-2011 11:08 PM

Who knows...what I'm saying is that anything reading times should read xx.xxx seconds...not just xx. Yours is showing nothing after the decimal point.

Terrence 09-09-2011 11:11 PM

Im 216 in the right lane Tim is in the left lane number 213

BMRbrnSNRbrd 09-09-2011 11:13 PM

Just think of it this way...

A car that runs a 13.01 in the quarter mile is much faster than a car that runs a 13.99...according to yours they are both 13 second cars...which, technically, is right but not an accurate measurement.

ramthis9501 09-09-2011 11:13 PM

Yeah it might not be a 11 flat or 17 flat but its in that area, guess I'll have to go to the track to get a xx.xxx time

916Timmy 09-09-2011 11:14 PM

I have...on 17's, DSP 87, Volant, Mag Exhaust...full weight
Dens Alt was 3600 ft.

1/8 10.036 @ 72.83
1/4 15.318 @ 94.52

^^^^ See terrence's post :)

(S.M.R) 101 09-09-2011 11:15 PM

My truck is a Ninja they can't clock my time.................

That's actually quite a testament to the new Hemis because he's a quadcab and you're a regular.

Also Terrence has 3.92 LSD, and I'm 3.21 open!

BMRbrnSNRbrd 09-09-2011 11:18 PM

Hot damn!

no I dont have lsd sadly :( but I also had 20s on my truck

916Timmy 09-09-2011 11:38 PM

Really?

Weight wise the wheels are about the same, so it basically comes out to you having a 3.92 gears and I have 3.35s

myoung84 09-10-2011 09:59 AM

I need to run my truck and Charger sometime. I'm trying to get my boss to race me in his M5. I think if I get some new rear tires and can hook up I might stand a chance...

yea no LSD here, thats why I wish someone made a gear other then 4.10s or 4.56 for our trucks cause if Im gonna get a LSD or a locker of some type I may as well swap the gears while Im there. but I wont see much difference from 3.92s to 410s and I think a 4.56 would be to steep.

nightmatt 09-10-2011 01:39 PM

I ran a 14.3 1/4 mile at 98 mph

Was that when it was lowered?

nightmatt 09-10-2011 03:03 PM

Ya lowered with the 20's no weight reduction, intake, custom catback exhaust, diablo 87 or 89 tune can't remember. and a 150 shot of nitrous had to run the lower oct tune so the timing was retarded for the nitrous.

916Timmy 09-10-2011 03:28 PM

You can pull timing on the other tunes as well!! :)

nightmatt 09-10-2011 06:10 PM

Was to lazy to go in and adjust it right before the run

Okiespaniels 09-10-2011 08:08 PM

I pumped up front tires to 55 psi yesterday and made sure both my rears were at 45 psi

Then I holeshotted the tortoise in the right lane ( I think he had a sugar crash) and flew through the traps at twice the speed of slow.

The geezer at the timing booth said he could finally stop using a sundial and was able to upgrade to an hour glass.

I got so excited that I red lighted on the next run against Toby the turbo snail. I still ran a full pass and he only beat me by a shell...

OU Hemi 09-15-2011 03:18 AM

I've never been to a track. But have 14.61 @ 94(if I remember right) on superchip.

Morgan, lets hit the midnight drags one weekend. its always fun

i havent done one proper. i used the fucky hyperpac but i wouldnt trust their garbage.

ramthis9501 12-30-2011 03:07 PM

Old thread but Dave you were right about the app. It showed a 18 second 1/4 mile just going down the road at normal acceleration, then it showed the exact same time when I floored it from a dead stop. Its not accurate by any means. We all need to go to the track one night.

LowRam 12-30-2011 04:26 PM

ill run my bagged truck and drag it thru the finish line lol

916Timmy 12-30-2011 04:54 PM

They might not like that :) I go all the time Colton, i usually post on here before I go

ramthis9501 12-30-2011 05:17 PM

Yeah let me know Timmy and I'll try to go. Dont you have to have adult consent if your under 18 though?

916Timmy 12-30-2011 08:13 PM

Just need a valid drivers license! No parent waiver required!

ramthis9501 12-30-2011 09:44 PM

Awesome!! I'm definitely gonna go now! Might bring my crap 16's and light them up:naughty:

and you'll get kicked out .. shit like that isn't even cool or funny ... it's a punk mentality i know you think dragging your truck is soo cool and all that shit but to potentially damage a racetrack and ruin things for others is very cool of you

(S.M.R) 101 12-31-2011 11:13 AM

Calm down Matt...... I'm pretty sure he was just messing around.. no need to blow up dude.

On another note I'd like to hit up the track with the truck one of the visits, that would be a cool meet one of these times

Matt 12-31-2011 11:24 AM

Ok...

Let me know when you're in town! I usually go with a few other truck buddies...One serious Cummins and a worked Lightning.

(S.M.R) 101 12-31-2011 01:27 PM

No Doubt Tim I think that would be pretty awesome time.. I have never ran my own down a track but have been a ride along in plenty

ramthis9501 12-31-2011 07:00 PM

I looked at their site and they let everyone run on Friday nights. We'll all have to go one night when Kyle's down again.

916Timmy 12-31-2011 10:30 PM

Should be a Sunday test N Tune in february some time, weather permitting. Two of my friends work at the track...they keep me in the loop :)

ramthis9501 12-31-2011 10:39 PM

Let me know when it is, I'll try to go!
