I'll probably leave the bumper there as that's directly from a picture of a first gen front end...I think adding tires might help.

DoubleTakeDodge 01-23-2012 07:48 PM

Oh ok, gotcha. I didn't know it was directly from a firstgen pic. This is all i meant by raising the bumper though.. Just to close that very thin gap created when the pic is taken slightly downward. I figured this would be like if the camera was at a lower position so that the bumper apeared in front of the bottom body line.

Ah, I gotcha buddy and I'll definitely adjust it. Anyone else have an opinion on this idea? I was thinking "OklaRams.com" across the back with the four front ends lined up below it. They will be smaller, but will still look good, I think.

DoubleTakeDodge 01-23-2012 08:00 PM

Sounds good. I'm sure however you do it, it'll turn out lookin good!

(S.M.R) 101 01-23-2012 08:02 PM

Yeah that would be awesome D

BMRbrnSNRbrd 01-23-2012 08:06 PM

Matt 01-23-2012 09:28 PM

i think 4 side view or 4 angled views would be better i know it would be more work but i think it would look better ... i think it would be worth it in the long run just my opinion

as a matter of fact tomorrow i'll call the t-shirt guy again he's done alot of shirts for me with graphics just grabbed from the net and they come out great i really like how much detail is in the first shirt that i posted as well and if he can do something like that

ramthis9501 01-23-2012 10:19 PM

Very nice Dave, I think the front or angled view would look good. Either way this is gonna be awesome! And I'd definitely rock the shirt and hoodie!

OklaHemi 01-23-2012 10:23 PM

i agree with matt, i think the angle on most of these sigs would look killer

BMRbrnSNRbrd 01-25-2012 06:14 PM

Alright guys, getting a little frustrated and need some input...

I agree that we need to go with the 3/4 angle instead of the straight on angle. Now how much detail do you want? You saw what I did with VERY little detail on that car club logo but at that point it may be very hard to differentiate between a 2nd and 3rd gen. So, try that or maybe something a little more like this:

http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...pleoutline.jpg

That's a first gen but, again, it'll be hard to differentiate a 2nd and 3rd gen. The second gen grill was pissing me off because I couldn't get it to look right.

Is that a good level of detail (pretty minimal) or do you guys want something more like the front shots I posted, but just at the 3/4 angle? If that's what you like, how much detail? Just front end, body line, fender lines, doors? Add glass? Go as far as fuel doors and tail lights?

ramthis9501 01-25-2012 06:24 PM

I don't think it needs to be crazy detailed but the doors, glass, wheels and body lines will be good enough IMO.

Matt 01-25-2012 07:10 PM

so i just talked to him 14-15 bucks a shirt if we do atleast 12 (to avoid screenprint setup costs) if we do a single color and he said he can get quite a bit of detail in that
i showed him the picture that i posted a couple pages ago and he said he could do something like that ... i honestly think thats the way to go .. it would save you a ton of trouble david from having to do stuff in photoshop and we could have a finalized design alot quicker as well and we can do it in a black shirt or gray ... this is including the text below the 4 trucks as well and a orc decal on the front chest area

also another idea i thought about is instead of copying the layout of how that other shirt was it would be cool to have all four trucks parked angled next to each other

http://image.minitruckinweb.com/f/ed...truck-show.jpg

something like this but angled the other way and have the angle a little more from the front so you can see the whole front and part of the side and have oklarams.com under that ... i think would look sick

BMRbrnSNRbrd 01-25-2012 07:40 PM

Hell yeah Matt! Now...where to get some trucks that aren't members trucks?

Matt 01-25-2012 08:05 PM

What about 4 stock trucks ?

BMRbrnSNRbrd 01-25-2012 09:07 PM

That's what I think too. Are you just talking about taking some off of Google and 'shopping them together or actually finding four trucks for a pic?

Matt 01-25-2012 09:10 PM

No 4 trucks chopped together and they said they'll do that

ramthis9501 01-25-2012 09:25 PM

Sweet that'll work! 4 stock trucks would be the best. Just make sure they got some 20's on them ;)

Matt 01-25-2012 09:43 PM

1st and 2nd gens didn't come with no damn 20s

ramthis9501 01-25-2012 09:46 PM

You can put some on it lol

BMRbrnSNRbrd 01-25-2012 11:25 PM

I think stock is best. A couple different cab configurations though.

(S.M.R) 101 01-26-2012 12:42 AM

Why don't you do the cabs in order.. single, extended, quad, crew
