Next project
So I sold my tonneau cover yesterday which opens up some coin for my next project. Here's the plan:
Buy a second set of OEM tails and open them up. - Done and done.
Buy a set of LED tails with a clear lense and open them. - Looking
Paint the inside of the OEM buckets to match my headlights JJ did. (satin black bowls and the rest of the light color matched.)
Install the clear lenses on the painted OEM buckets.
Install the red OEM lenses on the LED buckets.
Final result will net a set of led tails with OEM red lenses AND a set of fully custom, color matched tails with clear lenses.
My biggest hurdle right now is finding the right LED tails. I have to find some that mount the lenses the same way as OEM or I'll be stuck with lights I can't use.

JJ, I know you said I don't want what you have, but would it be too much trouble to take a picture of the back of one and then a close up of where the lens and bucket meet? I just want something to post on my DT thread of what I don't want.
