Default Headlight Restoration

I bought this rain-x headlight restoration kit because my headlights had a glaze over them so bad, you couldn't see the bulb. Well using the kit today they ended up looking like....

I would highly recommend the kit from O'Reillys.

Looks good! I restored the lights on my wife's old 01 Mustang and it was a huge pain in the ass. Didn't use a kit, but an assortment of sandpaper and rubbing and polishing compound. The kits out now look much easier.

I believe so man. I personally haven't changed them and I don't believe the guy that owned it before me changed any. I also looked up on some websites what stock lights look like and they look like it so I would say so.

yeah myoung. kit looked had the lubricant and 3 grain-levels of sandpaper, polish with headlight restorer cream and sealant towelettes to finish the job. It wasn't too bad, little bit of elbow grease because of how bad my lights were but not too bad.

thanks ramthis9501. I like your headlights. I have thought about putting aftermarket lights in my truck before I realized I could restore them. What kind do you have in your truck?

I got them off eBay. Don't recommend these exact ones because I had problems with the company I got them from. But I like the lights and you can get even better ones on there for even cheaper then I did if you look on there enough.
