morgan........you smart mofo you
So, a few weeks ago I posted up some pics and it seems that a few liked to comment on my fcuked up steps. Morgan mentioned that the linkages may need to be swapped out. smrat mofo.
LOL
So, here's the issue:
And...........this morning it went from working ok, to going down half way and getting stuck. So, I took the board off, and the f'n linkage won't move at all.
New linkages coming!!

They should tuck a lot better with the updated linkages. And their customer service is excellent. When I had a linkage break they sent me 2 new linkages then an entire driver side assembly to get it working. The first linkage they sent broke almost instantly and the second one they sent was binding really bad and about to break. Turns out it was my fault for telling them I had the wrong color bump stops, which is how you tell the old and new apart. Didn't look close enough and the grey looked black, so that's what they sent. I even offered to pay shipping for the new driver side assembly (board and all) and they wouldn't let me. All is well now.
People can bash Bestop over Amp all day long but I am very happy with what I have.
And those are definitely the old version. The new ones are much beefier and have gusseting on the motor mounts. They sending both sides?

yeah, he told me they will tuck a little more, which is GREAT - I want that!
Something must have broke in this one, it just won't move at all!

The guy on the phone today cracked me up. He said, "I have some bad news man...........you'll have to get back under there next weekend and put these new parts on". I said, "good timing, I'm putting a body lift on next weekend." LOL

thanks! hope to have her looking a little better next weekend. May have to postpone it though........stupid parts didn't arrive today for a few retros......so I may have to do those instead. Maybe I'll get 'em done during the week (which sucks). We'll see!

Great deal, I wish they would make them look like the ones on my Tahoe. They can pass for Side skirts when retracted. That's is what I want for my ram
