Got a couple of new toys for Christmas. First is a new Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS headunit to replace the old Pioneer headunit. There was nothing wrong with it but I got spoiled by the Bluetooth streaming I have in the Jeep. So, my wife bought this new one for me. It was a direct drop in since the wire harness was the same. Just had to change the XM tuner since they went to a different style plug and the old one wasn't compatible. The new XM tuner allows me to pause and rewind XM channels which is pretty cool. The interface has also been updated from the old one and everything is larger and more driving friendly.

Also have one more mod that I got for Christmas and one other thing that I ordered earlier this week. These will be revealed once I get them installed.

No Nav but you can add the optional module. I don't use it enough to justify the cost. My standalone Garmin works just fine.

I have the bug............

Wife told me to get a backup camera done in the truck (my present from her this year). I wouldn't mind a new spiffy HU too!

Do it! I really like the new Pioneers. My old one was nice but they have done an excellent job on the new ones.

Yeah, I got lucky and just had buy a new xm module that was less than $40 and the harness was the same so it was an easy swap. What sirius module do you have now? They are making them universal now and yours might work...
