i was going to say this but you already have the answer ... since i've replaced 2 i know the issues haha when your blend door goes bad you have barely any air coming out of any of the vents and since you have some that blow hard that's def not it ... but funny that this comes up as my truck just started doing this as well

Mine goes to defrost under heavy acceleration but comes back to the vents when I let off. Think it has something to do with vacuum...

when my recirc door broke i had no air but the motor was blowing. the little bastard broke off and fell covering the air to the blower. took me 15 minutes to remove it. they have a new upgraded recirc door assemble at the dealership for 55.00 but it is a big pain in the ass( as you can see^^^^) to replace.

My 2000 Dodge Ram is having AC issues. It's blowing cold out of the vents but the dash vents feel like they are blocked off. It seems that the air is being redirected towards the feet because it will blow twice as hard out of the bottom vents. I noticed that I have a black line that is not connected under the dash but I haven't found a spot to plug it in. Any ideas as to what my problem might be? Thanks!

What did the Dealer tell you that the problem was?
