DEF isn't a bad thing from what I've heard. Mileage is much better...

I have heard the same thing... Only issue that I would have is that the nearest fill station that offers DEF is 40 minutes away from where I work in PA... I know in the future stations will start to offer DEF but how long?
I'm not looking to drive 40 minutes each way just to get DEF.

Understandable. I'd expect to see it offered at most stations before long since it's being used a lot. How many miles can you get out of a tank?

That's more than I was expecting. I know it's a much smaller engine but the Jeeps are supposed to get 10k miles out of an 8 gallon tank. That would be a hassle to have to drive 80 miles for fuel every other tank.

Right. I'm not sure if the stuff I was reading was issue related, most people were saying they were going back to the dealer to see if there were any issues with the DEF tanks or something.
IDK.. I'd rather get a 12' rip all the emissions stuff out, Chip it, Intake it and a few other smaller mods and get awesome MPG's with it. Some guys running these 12's and other Cummins are pulling some awesome MPG's without all the emission stuff.
