if you wanted you could have forked over the extra 11 grand to me so I could get my same truck with a cummins motor

Part of me Wishes I would have got the cummins but I have no need for it.... I have a work cummins... and I can take the 11 grand extra that I didn't spend on the cummins and mod the shit out of my truck... Plus with diesel fuel at $4.50 per gallon up here............. I'll stick with my gas motor

Ohh i'd choose a Cummins over a gas motor any day... but not at 50+ grand... not when I would not use the full potential of the truck... and a huge factor was that I have a 2012 6.7L Cummins that I get to drive everyday for work.

I looked real hard at a new Cummins but like Kyle, I just won't use it to it's full potential so I went with the gasser. It's no where near $4k do do the deletes. You can get a full turbo back exhaust and an H&S programmer for less than $1500.
