Speaker time
Alright so Christmas is coming up and I decided it's time for some new speakers! The ones I have now are pretty much overpowered by the sub. So question is, what brand should I get? I've heard alot of good on Alpine but I'm not an expert on them.

Any of the name brands are going go sound good. I have Infinity reference in the truck now and they sound good. I also have Polks in the boat and they sound good as well. When/If I get my new truck, I will probably go with Polk or Alpine.

So what size speakers will fit in the 2 doors? Is 6x9 about right?
Here are those kickers I found yesterday
Pretty sure these are 6x9.

Those are not 6x9 dude...think about it...a 6x9 will be oval...those are circular.
The KS60 is a 6" coaxial. The 2001 either has 6x9s in the front or 6.5s.

Oh... thought that's what it said on the box. Guess those wouldn't work then right?

You could make them work.... But you would have to do some remodeling to get them to fit..... Prolly not worth the effort.. just pick up some 6x9's and call it done.

i traced the stock 6x9 to make my templet for the 6.5 components very easy. but 6x9 will carry more bass. just find some 6x9 to throw in there
