Default Lifted, again...

I decided to remove the lowering kit and put my stock springs and 2" front lift spacer back on. I really liked the look of my truck lowered, but I'm not really a lowered truck kind of guy. It also looks much better with the tow mirrors now than it did when lowered.

If anyone is interested I have my Belltech lowering kit for sale. Springs only have 4k miles on them...

These are fine for now. I would love some 35's but don't want to shell out the cash for them. These tires have about 22k miles on them and have at least another 25k usable life so it will be another year before I start thinking about new tires.

I might just run some 275/65/20s. They are about an inch taller and I get get a set of Nittos for about $1000.

Thanks guys. This was another one of my "What the hell were you thinking" moments. If I would have gone with some shorter street tires and kept the original mirrors it would have looked a lot better. The truck just seemed to have a split personality...

Well I hate to see it but at least your happy. It's nice you can change things so easily on a vehicle these days.

Maybe my drop kit can make someone else happy, for a discounted price.

And these trucks are cake to work on. I had all 4 coils swapped out in less than 3 hours. That includes screwing with the rear air bags and front coil spacers.

Finally back from getting my alignment done at Hibdons. Showed up at 11:45 and they said "We'll getcha right in!" The truck wasn't on the rack until 12:45 and I didn't leave until 1:30!

Good news is, I am apparently pretty dang good at eyeballing an alignment. The toe was way off after going from a 2" drop to 2" lift and there was no way I could have driven it like that. I adjusted the chamber with the 2 lower control arm bolts on each side and did my high tech eyeball toe adjustment. The alignment dude said it was pretty dang close and only minor adjustments were made.
