Default E3 Plugs

Whats up guys. Looking to put some E3 plugs in my truck. My gpa said that they would help with gas mileage and I heard they increase horse power. Anyone use them or have any thoughts on it?

I've heard good and bad on them... I haven't tried them because of some of the negatives I've heard but that's just me. Maybe someone else will chime in later that has used them.

Never tried them. Over on DT I read several folks saying they didn't help. I run standard Champion truck plugs...

Just saw on tv they are worth 5hp on the dyno and better fuel economy.

Yeah that that"s what I heard. I just had a buddy that had them in his jeep cherokee and they caused it to overheat or just run a lot hotter than he wanted or than his thermostat liked so I was wondering if any dodge fellow had tried them, I think they are worth a shot! vipnlcasino.nl

Hm, I think they'd be fine in most applications, if you're not running boost. I couldn't find how hot they were so I'm sure if they'd be safe in boosted applications. Either way, I'm going to use them when I swap mine out.

I have also been curious about Pulstar pulse plugs... They have an internal capacitor that releases a pulse instead of a standard arc. They are 10 to 13 bucks per plug though!

I had them in my '06 Mega. They gave me about 1 to 2 mpg gain. I didn't notice any power gain.

I think I'd do it again if I had another gasser. I like that they will last longer than the champs and you don't have the cracking issues/worries of the platinum plugs.

The E3's are gonna cost you a Benjamin where as Champs are gonna cost about 30 bucks. BUT, if the E3's last 4 times as long (as advertized) as the Champs then you end up saving 30 bucks and about 6 hours of frustration over the life of the plugs.
