I meant to document the install with pics but considering my daughter was going to wake up from her nap in an hour I couldn't. Although, the interior looks no different besides the little KICKER badges I need to still put on the speakers themselves look 100 times better than the stockers. Also, I glance at the back of one the stock 6x9's and it was 15 watts! lol

my 07 has the the full infinity system(minus the sub) and 6 disc changer. im actually very disappointed. it has no balls. highs and mids are clear with the volume cranked, but the bass isnt there.id really love to upgrade but i dont know really what to get thats not insanely expensive. id like to put some alpine type r's in it or some kickers. thoughts?

you're only going to add midbass ... just so you understand that and since you have infinity system you're still going to go through the amp so the crossovers are set for the infinity speakers ... so even putting in some alpines you won't gain THAT much midbass bc the factory system is still limiting the bass output .. what you need to do is just buy a small sub and amp ideally bc no speakers are going to give you enough lows .. . just midbass

Yep, that's why I did the Kicker speakers, just for midbass and higher. I'm currently installing an infinity reference 12 with a Kicker 500 watt monoblock amp.

ya wish he would respond to this .. bc last i knew he had an aq 3500 there's only a few amps that can make 5k+ and unless he has a bank 8+ of batteries his voltage is dropping stupid low and not getting peak out of the amp ... a 7500 watt amp is rated most of the time at 14.4 volts if you're dropping to 10 volts bc your electrical isn't up to snuff you have lost over 2200 watts right there many people think the way to get really loud is just keep throwing power and subs in ... when the box and electrical are as if not more important lol
