Anyone ever heard of the ZTA package for the Camero SS?

I was driving through Elkland, PA today and seen this sitting out front of the dealer.

I saw this kit for a camaro a while back, I didn't know they had gone into production though!

interesting indeed..

James, this is a kit car and is built when requested from the dealer, from what I understand. It starts out as a plain SS camaro then everything added.

I'm not going to lie............ In person, I kinda liked it... But I have always been a fan of the Trans AM "Smokey and the Bandit" style..

Yeah, I saw a magazine article in HotRod a little while back and just looked up another article on it. I knew it wasn't actually a new make, just an appearance package for the Camaro.

That is the Z/TA upgrade for the 2013+ Chevy Camaro 7T7 retro appearance package. The regular 7T7 package comes with chrome grille and bumper pieces, the Z/TA is basically the sport upgrade. It's much the same as the ram runner platform in that it is a factory upgrade package that can be either ordered for the 5th generation Camaro to be installed by a person or shop or by a dealership. The package costs $8500. They also have a 6T9 appearance package that resembles a GTO rather than a Firebird or TransAM. Just as the 7T7 has the Z/TA upgrade, the 6T9 has a GOAT upgrade that fiches the chrome pieces to resemble a "Judge" model GTO. A pic of the 6T9 GOAT package for the 2013+ Camaro is below.
