I see that side but I also see some thug shooting at people if he sees 3 people one of them with a gun on his side who do you think he's going to shoot?

The only real good that open carry is going to do is prevent the petty shit like a "casual exposure" ticket/charge. Anyone who carries a weapon on a daily basis as a civilian knows that the tactical choice is to keep it concealed.

And my 2 cents, after doing extensive research and writing two 10+ page papers on the subject, open carry does not present any more of a threat than is already posed. However, it does give law abiding civilians the opportunity to defend themselves and those around them. And the fan issue.. shooting someone over the outcome of a game is just stupid and the people who did it seriously have some issues. But it never did say who the two shooters were so it's unclear who's fans they were. And this is not an incident unique to OKC either. It's ignorant to think otherwise.

I never saw a single article that stated it was a fan at all. There were a lot of peope in Bricktown last night, not all of them were there necessarily because of the game.

Yeah I heard that it happened around the Sonic headquarters next to the Harkin Theater... so like said, it could have nothing to do with the game.
