Im planning on getting rid of the plastidip on my wheels and putting some permenant black paint on it. I called some power coating places but their wanting to much money... so what is the best kind of paint I can get so I can do it myself? I'll be using a gun to shoot it, just need some heat and brake dust resistant paint.

There are places that sell wheel paint specifically. Might check with Palace Auto Supply in Norman.

what prices are you getting for powdercoat?

Anywhere from $65-$80 a wheel, I figured it would be alot cheaper since their only 17" and no chrome

call around then .. who gave you that pricing? i got all 4 of my 17" wheels for 120 bucks out the door blasted/coated/tax

I've called about every powdercoating place around... the cheapest I could actually find was $200 for all 4. Where did you get that done at Matt?

And Matt, whats the name of the company? And how long ago did you have those done?

I had a set of 22s stripped, coated, etc all done there for $350 and they did an awesome job.
