Default gears

does anyone know a good place to go locally to have a gear swap done? i have 0 issues daily with my truck PLENTY of power but i got into some sticky mud earlier and i could've definitely used more balls probably looking into atleast 4.56's

The best place I've TALKED to...not done yet, but its 4 Wheel parts. They gave quoted me 1400 bucks for the gears of my choice, Detroit true-trac, master install kit, 300 in labor and a 3 year warranty if anything "bad" should happen to the rear end.

I wish slammed1/Brian McClure (I think that's his last name) out of Ft. Smith was still around. He did the gears on my 04 and did a great job. I think he charged me $250 labor to put in my gears.

That's not a bad deal at all! I've heard great things about their installs.

They do a TON of gear swaps....the day I called them, they were working on 4 that day alone. And they offer a warranty....so if you trash the rearend racing...hint hint....they will replace and reinstall whatever for three years and 36000 miles.
