That's why I prefer home installs. Installing one of those isn't too hard and you save a fortune. However, I know you are strapped for time more than anything.

yeah.....but at the end of the day, I look at how long it would have taken me. book time on it was almost 6 hours. So, that equates to JJ time of 10-12. If I have an "extra" 10-12, I'm going to be in my shop easily making more than the cost of the 'verter install.

I kinda wish I had the time to do it, learn it, etc - but.....it would have probably just sat here like other mods I have in my mind (MY own freakin' headlights.....awesome to run around on stockers! LOL)

Anyone else without power? I lost power around midnight and have had my little gasoline generator running since 5 am. I'm sure my neighbors love me...

I'm sure that is a LOT of fun with a newborn.

You know it. News days it could be days before everyone is back online. I sure hope they get us up quickly. I'm already sick of hearing the generator running. I really should have a natural gas permanent generator installed, I do sell them for a living.

I was about to give you some shit about that. LOL

I would love one at my house, but I'll wait until we get the next place!

Sarah and I have already decided the next house will get a built in natural gas generator and a storm shelter in the garage floor.

Same here. I can buy the generator at cost which makes it a little easier. Since we probably won't be in this house too much longer I didn't think it was great idea since it might be hard to get the money back out of it. Next house will definitely have one.

We're up now though. Ran about 8 hours on generator back feeding through a "welder plug" I installed under my breaker box. Works like a charm.
