Tulsa Powder Coating
Thumbs down.
I called to check on my wheels today since it was the end of the week, this is what i was told. "The sandblasting is tearing off the metal in chunks and we dont have the time to fix it. Come get you wheels, take them somewhere to get sand blasted and smoothed out and we will still powder coat them for you but at a discount." WTF, so now I have one completely sandblasted wheel and three chrome ones and my center caps and other wheel accents at the paint shop. Fuck my luck. I am going to go to broken arrow powder coating on monday to see if they can help. I didnt use them first because TPC beat their price and they were recommended to me. That is what I get for trying to save money.

I always thought they were supposed to use media blast stuff so that out won't damage aluminum

Shoulda used BAPC in the first place. They regularly do aluminum wheels and I have seen thier work.
Haven't heard anything good about TPC
Hopefully BAPC will do you right.

I suppose since they are chrome clad it may be an issue. You nay have to find someone that specializes in media blasting and can remove chrome.
Wierd...he did some chrome pieces for me (not aluminum) and they came out grea
BAPC is not cheap either!

It wasn't really we messed up, it was more we bit off more than we care to chew and now we are spitting it out. The one they did looks decent but they didn't finish.

Sorry to hear that bud. I know its no compensation, but the nice thing about this forum is that its all local, so knowing about a bad business may actually help other members.
