So your truck only uses a couple 3 oz of oil in 3228 miles right? If a qt of oil is 32 oz then figurativly speaking...it would take almost 32,000 miles to use a ful qt or about 16k for a half qt of oil.
Is this small amount of oil really forming a larger deposit someplace it shouldn't...and where? What is the long term problem of this. My truck still gets some oil in the plenum...it has 138k on it. Not blobs and puddles like when my gasket was blown but I can see it in a dirty splotchy film.
Mind you, I'm only asking for information.

I installed my CC at my last oil change and it's due for another this weekend. I have been saving the oil from the can in a bottle and will post pics of how much I catch in my 6000 mile oil change interval. I think I'm about double that so far and will have a little more to dump in when I change the oil. These cans are definitely money well spent.

I saw the water bottle and ordered one. Can you put the difference before and after the installation of you MPG? Also, Moe's has it marked down $20 right now if anyone is on the fence...

I haven't noticed any difference in mileage, but I drive like I have multiple personality disorder!
