I wish they had those when I got mine. I was stuck in metal braces for 3 years...

Cool thing about these is I can take them out to eat and brush my teeth, as long as I have them on 20-22 hours a day. Think I can manage that

As for carrying at work, no. Once you are on the secure side of the jail (i.e. anywhere an inmate is) no one carries a firearm. All of us carry OC and the Lts carry pepper ball guns...imagine a pistol sized paintball gun with a laser pointer loaded with paint balls that are filled with a baby powder form of OC...not fun, but funny to see in action (as long as you aren't the one getting shot at.)

Yeah that was the first earthquake I have ever felt...Pretty crazy feeling.
One of my friends works at the Elmira NY corrections center and he carries one of the pepper ball guns... I've seen pictures of what they do.. During his training he had to get the OC and the pepper ball gun (In case an inmate ever got ahold of one and used it against him he would know what to expect)
when I was in Canada I "Volunteered" to be pepper sprayed by the RCMP.... Well the story was the RCMP was saying how the spray could take a 350+ pound man to his knees.. Under my breath I said "Yeah right" and he heard me so I told him I would let him.........and he did....Biggest mistake of my life lol.

Yeah, I've been sprayed (have to in order to be certified) and it's a miserable experience.
