This is exactly what I was thinking of doing with my caps. Please excuse the Ford link, but the idea is the same. I'm waiting on a reply back from Method on a price for the caps when I fuck one up. LOL

Well, cutting them down isn't going to work because of the rear floating axle cover. I can only cut about a half inch off which isn't going to help. So, I decided to just remove them all together. I actually like it much better. I did some quick plastidipping on the front hub to cover the rust.
