So we're somewhere in 2005...maybe late 2004. It's hard to remember sometimes. Time punishes the old...

I added a proper front suspension/lift. 3 inch spacers, longer control arms, limit straps and bump stops. Now many of you know where I've gotten much of my suspension knowledge from. BTW it's very functional, but not perfect. An old friend named Keevin stayed up half the night to assist me. Sadly Keevin has disappeared into the mists of time.
But the suspension works like it should now...there's always room for refinement

The battle between form and function has exploded. All the funky decals, emblems and rub strips were removed.
I finally added dual exhausts, a FIPK, and had a set of factory valve covers chromed. Sport tail lights were purchased at a steal of a price. I put in a set of polished grille inserts. My friend Rich loaned me his driveway again for the exhaust install. Rich now lives in Mo.

Finally, the Kuhmo mudders, wrre replaced in mid 2005 with General At's. That would be a mistake, although one of the A/Ts is still carried as a spare.
I start going on more interesting runs with the Azbc group. The Broken Arrow trail in Sedona becames one of my favorite. Not sure you can squeeze a full size in there now but you could in 2005.

Sharp eyes will notice the rear fender ding, a scar from my trip to Crown King.

More pics from 2005 on the way.

I've logged in on a desktop, my laptop, and my phone and am unable to see recent pictures... But somehow the pictures on the first page now work. Great writeup though Al, very cool.

Guys I'm sorry you can't see whats going on...I'm not a puter guy so I hope someone fixes it.

Here's a flashback...remember that easy trail I put pics up on? Remember I said its a bit tougher when wet? Indeed it is.

I only ran 2 of the 3 crossings. Here's the 2nd. The third was two fast a current for me. BTW..this is one week before the lift and FIPK were installed. I'm glad I had the stock filter setup!

2006...I'd get sway bar disconnects for the Ram Oh what fun!

That ditch in Sedona...easy peasy!

2006 would be our last year in Arizona and we went on a tour...

Broken Arrow in Sedona ..Coincidence?

North side of Table Mesa/Lake Pleasant

My Apartment...kidding. Old mine office. One word... Rattlesnakes! Oh..new tires. Pep Boys Durango Mudders. On my 2nd set now...Pep Boys service is dicey but the tires are a good value!

Oatman massacre site...very very creepy! What our pioneers went through...

Sadly 2007 has no pics from Jan till late Summer. Traci, our dog Sandy and I moved to Tulsa in June. Sad because the ram got a new transmission out of the deal...and a deep sump PMI pan. Shift kit was installed by my friend Ed in Phoenix. He's definetly the go to guy for Dodge stuff.

But we got one cool mod for Christmas....behold, the OKIESPANIEL hisself!

Then I bought a small Mig welder....

I'm up to the point in the build where I'm pretty much stuck in Tulsa for now.

At least I have a place to put a welder, which I've made good use out of.

I've done a couple of big projects...one a complete interior redo, which was detailed in GPMM for those who cross over, and a partial bed restore also detailed in GPMM as well.

The only other thread over here in ORC is this one...a review of 2012.

Oh...how could I forget my official "puttering" thread.

The build isn't done though, simply waiting for finances to catch up. I placed an order for a few small items from Jegs tonight. They should be installed by Bristow. Another project is supposed to be done by the Perkins show.

Cleaning up details and loose ends here. Got rid of the ricer light switch and wiring for my 55 watt lights and installed a proper switch to match my 100 watters.

Couple details added. New fastners for for the front along with new trans cooler hoses and couplers.

And I got a heck of a deal on a new dashmat that a customer oe'd but didn't buy. Much nicer than original bought in Phoenix about 12 years ago.

This "spring" I've purchased some items that will really change the look of my truck. It's something I've wanted to do for years but could never find the money.

Yes, I'm not posting pic(s). Soon though. It's nice to finally have something new.

It's been a long winter folks, hopefully this will get every ones blood pumping a bit.

Good to hear. I was just telling a buddy of mine about your truck the other day.
