I'd love to have a saltwater tank, but don't want to put that kind of time into it. I don't put any chemicals in it at all, even when I fill it with fresh tap water (which included about 15-18 gallons after cleaning). I also only clean it about every 6 months. My sucker fish does a pretty good job at keeping the glass clean.
I checked the levels (low pH, high pH, nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia) on Sunday and everything was absolutely perfect. It had been over a year since I last checked the levels. Not bad at all for a tank I put zero effort in to.

LOL. Yes, we have a lots of Live Laugh Love paraphernalia all over the house, even have some rocks in the flower bed.
When I remodeled the spare bathroom upstairs a while back we had to go shopping for the "accessories" and I wanted to have a sign made that said "Eat, Sleep, Poop" over the toilet. She didn't find it too funny.
