Default BMRbrnSNRbrd's 2010 CC Sport build thread

Guys, I’ve seen this on other sites and decided to do it here. This is my truck from start on October 23, 2010 to now. Enjoy.

Dealership picture. Notice the wheels they had on it. Needless to say I made sure they understood that would be changed before the deal was done.

Here she is with my previous truck, a 2004 White QC Hemi. I still miss that truck desperately. I stripped it down quite a bit before I took it to the dealership and handed them the keys.

Here she is after having the correct wheels swapped on and the windows tinted 5% up front and 5% over the factory tint on all the rear windows.

First mod early November 2010 was a Raceland USA e-cutout that had been on my previous truck.

Trip to Tulsa, OK with my wife also in early November 2010. At this point I had plug and play HIDs in all four front lights.

My Christmas present to myself and the truck is still one of my favorite mods I’ve ever done to a truck. Thanks Jeremy!

I especially like this pic because of the way the projectors pick up the light and the angle…kind of looks like a caged pit bull.

December 10, 2010 pics at a local airfield.

I later tinted my fogs with Lamin-X to help dull down the chrome.

December 23, 2010 brought my next big mod with a 2/4 drop using the McGaughy’s Economy kit.

Here’s are some pics taken in early January that I did some editing to:

Some more pictures taken in early January 2011 that were taken at one of my favorite local spots:

Late January 2011 brought on quite a few changes that were all done at my house by myself.

First was painting the factory dual exhaust tips satin black:

Then came the complete headache of custom painting my factory front and rear emblems:

I also Plasti-dipped my factory chrome clads and painted my brake calipers bright red:

My factory horizontal chrome grill inserts also got the Plasti-dip treatment:

A quick pic of my kiddo with the truck during the February 2011 snow storm:

Another of my favorite truck pics while it’s getting the Fukken Wax treatment:

At the end of February 2011 I received and installed my Billet Technology Oil Catch Can. Sure, there may be cheaper options, but I KNOW this works:

In mid-March 2011 I took the truck out and took almost 100 pictures. Here are my favorites:

One of the smaller and cheapest (free) mods I’ve done was swapping the flat black vinyl on my b-pillars to gloss…they now tie in much better with my dark tint:

In April I tackled one of the things that I think Dodge dropped the ball on…mainly the cheap black plastic they use for the antenna base and tailgate handle despite that everything else is color matched. Again, this was done in the garage by myself:

The antenna base:

May 11, 2011 I finally tinted my tails and puddle lights using VHT Niteshades:

May 13, 2011 photoshoot favorites:

On May 20, 2011 I finally tackled the tailgate handle:

On July 28, 2011 I decided I needed something to brighten up all the gray and black on the truck so I went back to chrome wheels by peeling the Plasti-dip off. This also shows the Tonno Pro soft tri-fold tonneau cover I added before our Las Vegas trip:

And here are the latest pics:

There may not be a lot of money in it and there are plenty of large mods I still want to do, but I think, considering how much I’ve spent, the truck looks great and unique. My favorite thing is how much I’ve done myself despite never having done anything like smoothing and painting before.

You nailed it in your last statement Dave. " My favorite thing is how much I’ve done myself "

I loved my 2004 but I appreciate my 08 a lot more because everything that I have done I have done it myself. All my mods are small but make it unique and when people ask where I bought or where I took my truck to get something done, I smile and say I did that myself..

your truck is one of my top favorite trucks, So if it ends up missing one day don't come looking for me haha

Thank you very much Kyle, that's a hell of a compliment.

If you do make it disappear, make sure no part of it is ever seen again so I can pick up a new Charger R/T.

Tear I remember when you broth that thing home all stock, now it's all fixed up. They mod up so fast. I wish I had a photo journal but I get so excited to mod I don't think of a camera
