system help..
alright this is in my tahoe but I thought id see what yall thought i built a wall with two 18" MA subs there dual 4 and ive got a pyramid 3000 watt amp pushing them.
the amp keeps kicking off and going into protect mode if turned up very loud. my first though was maybe it under powered so i thru a second battery under the hood and still the same thing i dont think the second batt helped at all...
anyone else have any thoughts? id like to solve this system issue so i can move on th my dodge system set up

First thing I would do is check all the fuses associated w/ the amp. My inline fuse melted and wasn't getting a good connection and used to do that.

Both. Mine was on my power wire between the battery and amp. But occasionally when a fuse blows it can melt the leads inside the fuse and once in a blue moon those melted leads fuse back together but don't carry enough current.

Yeah, me either. I'm really good with installation and stuff like that but I refer to others on all the technical stuff.
