Default Chrome wheel boo boo

So im washing my truck tonight, pre-rinsing with the pressure washer as always and as i go over the left front wheel I notice a flake. Turns out to be the chrome coming off of the wheel, WTF. I have noticed some pitting over the last year since I ran these all winter but this was shocking. The wheels are bacarat allure and arent the cheapest things around. Im going to get a quote on re-chroming all 4, I know I can get them powder coated for 180.00 but I have a hard time commiting to a murdered Ram. Either way it will have to wait until we get back from Florida, everything short of PM is on hold until then.

On a good note I tried the turtle wax black and my truck is as sexy as ever. I went to the grocery store a few minutes ago and she looked all wet as I walked up to her.

I think murdered out would look good... maybe try plastidip first before you go permanent with it to see how it looks

Sucks to hear that. I hope re-chroming doesn't cost you too much.

re-chroming is super high to have a good job done... you prolly will spend less selling them they way they are and buying all new ones

Powder them, sell them, get new wheels.
