well.........my cutoff clamps slipped off again. LOL

(yesterday)

Went to pull them and reposition them.........they are rusted like a mofo. New clamps on the way, going to replace my cutout when they come in (mines ........ broke, won't open)

So, I have a short project tomorrow, can't wait to introduce my neighbors to the cutout. LOL (they haven't heard it yet..........)

That sucks... I want a cut out so bad but I am really worried that I will be changing it every year because all the salt and sand up here.... I have heard from several people running them up here that they have been through a couple new kits because of rusting.... Don't know if I want to fork over the cash for one if it's just going to keep fucking up on me.

What's wrong with your current one JJ? Any idea why it won't open? Its a Raceland unit, right?

yeah, Raceland. Who knows why it won't open.

For a while, it was stuck open, the remote would work 20% of the time. I got another one, replaced the controller / remote, all was fine for a bit. Now.........who the hell knows. LOL - figure, I've got a spare, wtf, I'll throw it on.

Been there, done it. I got lucky and found a guy with a used main unit to grab the motor out of. Then, Raceland cut me a deal on a new controller.

Just wanted to say that I'm sorry I haven't been around much and the site is slow. Between the new bike and the little truck, the Ram is getting neglected. Also, after the body work and paint that had to be done on the hood, paint issues just deter my interest further. Hell, I've barely washed it lately other than spraying it off at a car wash.

Paint issues? Hood? What did I miss?

Here's what my truck did to me yesterday....

Driving along, she's TRUCKING it! I was like.......why is it when I let off, she's just gaining speed? LOL WEEEEE. Pulled into a parking lot, in neutral she shot up to 3K RPM pretty quick. Shut it off......detuned.....didn't know where to start. Popped hood, didn't see anything at first..........drove home (5 miles) - posted up on FB - 10 minutes later, done. Derrrrr. LOL
