Dont put paint over plastidip, thats a bad idea... it'll make the plastidip basically melt. They have a glossifier you can spray over the plastidip now that makes it glossy.

I was gonna do how James did and spray gloss black spray paint over the plastidip. It didn't melt or anything

When i did my grille on my last truck i plastidipped the entire grille then taped off the mouth and painted the surround white, then cleared over the white as well. it turned out pretty good and was still removeable with only a little bit more effort..

yeah, clear coat is supposed to eat at it. but if you just spray gloss on top then clear over the gloss it's still good
