My stepmom did it and lost a lot of weight. The only thing you have to think of is if you go back to normal eating you will most likely gain it back.
Believe it or not I used to be in great shape. I worked out six days a week and was a steady 185 while benching a max of 270 and squatting so much that the bar would actually bend from the weight. At my highest I've weighed I got to 240, that was Dec 07. I'm now at the lowest I've been since them at 203. The biggest thing I changed was giving up all soda and coffee as caffeine hinders weight loss.

Little battles dude. I tried quitting soda about four times in the last five years. I'll be the first to admit that, while I don't have an addictive personality, I don't have much will power either. I just fought little battles. If I go in to get a drink, just grab a Gatorade or something, pay for it, and leave before you can change your mind. I stopped buying bottles of Coke for the house. Now I drink sweet tea, lemonade, etc. Sure, there's caffeine in tea, but I also don't drink it like I drank Coke.

yeah in 2007 I was working in Tishomingo OK and when I was there I was 250 pounds and in 1 month and 2 weeks I dropped down to 168 pounds..... Now a lot played in on this.. I didn't really do it the healthy way (Like didn't eat anything for for a few weeks) but I was trying, Instead of sitting in my truck and watching the seismic crews I was out walking with them in the 110 degree weather which helped a lot but was also on the edge with my girlfriend who was up in NY and was fixing to leave me for another guy due to the fact that I only got to come home 4 times out of that entire year and I could only stay for 2 weeks at a time and she got sick of it and they fact that I had gained a lot of weight.. (She says that had noting to do with it but I doubt it) but I stopped drinking soda quit eating out 3 times a day and did work out when work permitted. over the last 4 years I have gone back up on weight, I am at 191 right now but I did keep the weight off and watched what I ate and worked out when I could...
I need to get back to working out.... I miss being 168 pounds and cut lol...

Yup aslong as you don't stock the fridge full of coke but instead with water and Gatorade it helps alot to bring the temptation down. I've only done this not eat until after school thing for about a week. I'm not even hungry right now, but will be later. Basically tricking my mind into it I guess. There is nothing healthy about Blanchard. Only way to eat good is wait to get home where there's good stuff
