Yes'r. i but a full base coat of plastidip on the entire grille. Then taped it off and layed down white then clear on the surround. The paint on top of the plastidip allows it to be peeled off just as easily while leaving the original finish in tact.

How well do you think it will hold up? I ordered two cans of white plastidip and the glossyfier to do my grille.

Thus far it seems like it does pretty well. but i havent hardly driven since i did it. If it doesn't do well i'll make sure and post it on here to avoid anyone else wasting money.
