Right, mine is the same way. The problem with the one Kevin let me try was the bend in the metal, not the design.

I understand now. I would've thought as long as the strker and latch would have been parallel it should function. Easy fix as long as the paint or PC doesn't crack.

Here's a finished shot, sans latch bolt. It'll be done and used at the Bristow show.
