i guess i see it like that bc most people still owe 80-90% of the vehicle so what happens if you shell the motor with 3k miles on it and you still owe 90% of the vehicle i'm not talking headers/intakes etc i've always had the school of thought if you want to build a racecar buy a car you can afford to trash why buy a new vehicle with a warranty and pay the huge markup for it just to void it and start thrashing on it ...to the OP i'm not trashing what you've done i'm just talking about in general and answering david

That's a good point. I personally will probably never buy a brand new vehicle just due to personal preference and opinion on the matter, even if I can afford it.

i like buying new and used ... new is nice bc you know exactly how the vehicle was taken care of bc you did it all .. used obviously you save money but you also always take a risk

The Ram was my first brand new for ME, wife's had 6-7 brand new cars...I have modded all mine, but this one I probably wont touch drivetrain, due to warranty.
But i get more than my fill of Thunder Valley every year.

I understand that Matt, I was just curious.
This is also my first brand new truck and I won't go internal on the motor for the same reasons you posted.

May not have a ram, but I think I speak for pretty much everyone on here when I say we all enjoy nice cars regardless. I'd like to see what you've got and hang out anyways! Just make sure and give a heads up!
