Axle fittment
Got a call from a guy that is wanting to buy the old axle with the 3.55's off my truck. His truck is an 02 without independent rear suspension, so it should work on that truck right?

No, independent rear suspension is where the suspension is not connected to each other in the rear...think of your front suspension and how you can move one side up or down and the other doesn't move. The fact that the rear axle is where both sides connect makes it linked.
