Two relays: For relay one, wire pin 85 and 30 to ground. Pin 86 to the headlight low beam 12v wire. Pin 87a gets connected to pin 85 on relay two. For the rest of relay two, wire pin 86 to an ignition switched 12v wire. Pin 30 to the battery constant and pin 87 to the positive side of the lights.
One relay: Pin 85 to ground. Pin 86 to low beam headlight 12v wire. Pin 30 to 12v switched wire. Pin 87a to positive side of lights.
Both methods will turn the lights on with the ignition and off when the headlights come on. Remember to fuse the wires coming from the battery and switched source.
