I think that is what SEMA became and there will always be an element of it, but if you look at the build Cody Elkins is doing or the dually and wagon that Robbie Bryant is doing now, they are still wild but focused on build quality. The Ford that Robbie is doing is still overkill though.

Got his tails, 3rd, cab lights and fender markers. Oh, and some switchbacks.
