Sounds like you are off to a great start!

1. When you cut the coils, do a little and then check...you can always cut more off...you can't add any back.

2. I used Nitro Drop IIs at first and hated them. Maybe it was my setup (I was much closer to a 3/5) but they rode terribly. I eventually moved to stock shocks, but that requires shock extenders for the rear.

3. Keep in mind that with the OEM configuration, the shorter the shackle, the lower the drop. When you do a flip kit, it reverses that concept. I would use the Slammed1 shackles at first and if you want to go a little lower, put the stock ones back on.

4. I removed my rear bumpstops completely. Yes, the rare times I bottomed out it was quite a thud, but it happened very rarely. For the front, I cut them off with a cutoff wheel and replaced them with some very cheap bolt in bumpstops from Auto Zone. I don't remember the brand, but they were conical trim-to-fit units.

If you have any more questions, please let me know. Also, if you need help when it comes time to install, hit me up. I have a two car garage and all the tools necessary to knock it out.
