Yep, that's why I did the Kicker speakers, just for midbass and higher. I'm currently installing an infinity reference 12 with a Kicker 500 watt monoblock amp.

Yeah, it sounds awesome! The added bass has some components rattle in a couple of the door panels, but other than that I'm really happy with it.

Do you mean on the 3rd gens? I thought alpine was the only premium speaker option on the 4th gens. My '03 had the infinity system in it, it was okay. I plan to pick up an amp, I just need a smaller...
