I had my tranny built(and recently serviced) at Hi Tech Transmission. They're at 1401 East 11th st in Tulsa. P# 918-582-7801. I don't know if they're resonable or not but I'm happy with the service.

EDIT: Rockauto doesn't list a clutch seperatly, and I don't believe its availible (oops). When the clutch goes out, it usually takes the compressor with it on those sanden/mitsu compressors, or at least that's been my experience. Perhaps a straight auto a/c part company might list them.

Or ebay....http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Ram-25...#ht_1315wt_846

I've always used..... Auto Transmission Specialists
1010 Wickham Rd
Sapulpa, OK 74066‎
(918) 227-3020

Carl Martin is the owner. He's always been up front and honest with me thru the years that I have used his services. The address of his shop is just across the street on the West side of the Walmart in Sapulpa.

Hope this helps you out.

I called around and got a great recommendation from Leslie @ Lester's Gear to go to BOWEN TRANSMISSION SERVICE in east Tulsa off of 111th. Called and talked to the guy and got a reasonable price on the labor to pull and install the trans with any labor involved on just front end ( converter, bushing, seal, pump ) for under $400 labor, no parts. That's the most honest and reasonable discussion I've had with any other shop to date.

Nope, no luck on RockAuto.... still need to call or check Pep Boys and Napa. Even my local shop couldn't find a clutch only, only complete compressor assemblies.

I think that after looking at my options, I'm going to go to my local tire shop where I have made friends and have them discharge the system and I will install the spare compressor assembly I have off the other motor. It was off a 2000 truck with considerably fewer miles, so I'm fairly confident it's okay. Only problem is that it has been sitting out in the shop uncovered or plugged for a year. Any advice or concerns with that? Suggestions on whether that is a good idea or if I should do anything extra or different?
