Matt 08-03-2011 12:16 AM

ramthis9501 08-03-2011 12:18 AM

Well... I guess it's to everyone his own. Imo plastidip saved my truck lol

OklaHemi 08-03-2011 11:09 AM

its not that bad lol, i have seen some real tastefull stuff done with it. Morgan used it on the interior of his charger and it looks stock. if they made a gloss version i would do my wheels.

ramthis9501 08-04-2011 03:38 PM

I bet they'll do that eventually as popular as that stuff is starting to become

I did? It was actually the interior of the Ram. ;) I plasti-dipped the chrome ring around the shifter bezel and it's an almost dead match to the factory flat black plastic. I actually kinda liked the chrome ring, but the damn thing would reflect the sun just right blind me nearly every day.

Plastidip fixes everything :)

OklaHemi 08-04-2011 04:06 PM

I don't see what's wrong with it. Sure, I could have painted my wheels black..but recently, when I decided I was over the black wheels, I pulled it off and everything is great underneath...can you go back to chrome after powder or paint?

ramthis9501 08-05-2011 12:51 AM

And another cool thing if Dave wanted to go back to black on his wheels one day, all he'd have to do is buy a couple cans of plastidip, paint them and it's done. Only out about $20 compared to $300+ for paint

Just another reason why PD is so awesome :D

I used it when i put my gooseneck hitch in on the underside of the hole and also matched the spray in bed liner pretty well
