What are you changing to?

I'm painting all the silver pieces. Most people do a simple color match to the truck, which I will have also, but I'm doing a little more for a custom look.

Those pieces that need to be initially taped off are done...

Well fellas, I'm starting over...completely. The clear I used ended up being complete shit. I've had success with it in the past but not this time. When I wetsanded it cut through almost immediately with no effort and 2000 grit paper...I'm pissed.

Oh well, I'm going to just set it aside, leave it alone for a couple days, drive the truck even though it looks like it was broken into, and just go back with a clear head and MUCH better clear.

Like you said, come back with a clear head and it will be all good.

A clear head and a $25 can of clear.
