Superchip problem

Don't know if any of you would know but I sold my SC tuner yesterday to a guy I work with and he tried plugging it in last night and tuning his truck but it told him it was VIN locked and error g37......

I set the truck back to stock before I sold it and I know I did because it felt like it ran like shit when I drove it to the dealer..

The only thing I can think of is He just bought his 2004 dodge ram 3 weeks ago and i'm thinking that maybe the past owner of his truck had some type of programmer on it and did not un-install it before the truck was sold.

Any Ideas?

Could be, the predator I sold turned into a brick when the guy updated it....they don't like to move I guess!

Dude funny you should mention that..... He told me he hooked it up to the computer to try and update it before he plugged it into his truck... wonder if that update has something to do with it.. I read something on the SC forum about updates screwing up peoples tuners..

I guess if I can't figure it out I'll just give him a refund.

Yeah, it happens with Diablo all the time, I told him it was fully updated and he still did it after i warned him....no soup for you! Its 99 bucks to fix.
