Thoughts?

So I'm pretty set on trying out the gloss Plasti-Dip and painting my wheels gloss black (still removable) and I'm pretty set on dropping my truck a bit more, but that will wait until I can afford a full set of shocks so that the ride doesn't suffer too badly.

So...here's the original:

Here's black wheels and dropped where I want it:

And here's a couple ideas I'm interested in doing eventually:

As much as I love black wheels, that smoked color of your rims now looks really good. Imo, I think you should keep the wheels the color they are now and paint the black stripe on the hood. That would look really good. Dropping it would be pretty sweet to.

Well now the more I look at it the more I like the black wheels... but no black roof.

agreed... the wheels do look good gray however they don't "pop" they just blend in with the truck and since you did the black grille it would pull it together even more ... but the roof too much lol

I think the black wheels look good. But I say no to the roof and hood.

BMRbrnSNRbrd 12-29-2011 02:05 PM

Yeah, the hood isn't what I wanted anyway...but I really like the black roof that I've seen before. I'm sure it's just not coming out visually appealing through Photoshop.

The drop is still iffy and relies on my having the cash for both shocks and an alignment and even then I'm worried about doing it as there's no going back.

I think it's the whole photo shop that's throwing the roof off..

As you may remember we all had our doubts about you painting the grill black but then you did it and it looks fuckin awesome.
