Picked up the new Samsung Galaxy S III
 

Picked this bad boy up yesterday afternoon..

So a few weeks ago I was in Best Buy and was looking around at tablets, No intention to buy just looking.... Got to checking out the Toshiba Excite 10, I saw it, wanted it, bought it..

After having it for 2 weeks I really was not using it at all... Nothing wrong with it but I just found myself on my laptop more then the tablet..

anyways I started checking out the new Samsung Galaxy S III and seemed pretty neat. So I decided to return the tablet and go for the Galaxy..

First impression... Thing is wicked thin and light as hell! The DCP is pretty awesome on this thing, however I have not even begun to rip into this thing as it's only my second day but i'm pretty impressed.. I have had the incredible 2 for about 2 years now and we are talking night and day.. I love the ICS OS so much more you can do with this then you could with the GB OS.

Now I figure someone will ask.. the battery life..... It sucks. I ran the battery all the way down to dead last night and let it charge for several hours and as of 9PM (6 Hours of use) tonight it shut off.. I was not expecting anything else with a phone that has such an awesome display! It is massive compared to my last droid but I love it that and I need to start doing the "Turning off useless stuff for battery longevity. it does not help that i'm in BFE PA and do not have service half of the time.. But I also have not been able to put it down so i'm sure that has something to do with it.

I went ahead and got the Otter Box for it..... It's really the only good case they had for it... aside of the cheap plastic pink rhineston covered cases....

I really like the fact that this otter box does not make the phone so damn bulkey like my GF's Iphone otter box.. Which was the biggest reason I bought it......... Well..... Pink Rhinestones really is not my color. so I had no other option

I still hate you and I disagree...pink rhinestones seem like they would be a perfect fit. :D

Does it come in a manly color, like black?

It only comes in white or blue...... and the blue had kind a purple hint in it (more for Dave's kinda flamboyant taste) but I didn't like the blue one.. so went with white.
