why are you getting rid of what you have? what are you going to use the amp for? subs? what subs?

Just subs.. I just don't like this alpine... prolly going down to some 10's in a fox box prolly some JL 10's or memphis audio 10's not sure yet

well it kind of depends on the impedance of subs you get and how much power they need .. so it's best to pick the subs and then pick the amp that best works for them .. but since they are subs yes a class d would be the best solution almost all class d are mono amps which just means 1 channel ..

I have an Alpine 1000 watt amp.. I'm just not a fan of the amp.. and 95% of the music I play is metal lamb of god, Of Mice & Men, Bless the fall.. Shit like that. Lots of double bass kicks and fast drums.

I think 12's are just to much for what I am wanting which is why I think some 10's in a fox box would work.. maybe a 500 or 750 watt amp would do the trick.
