That sucks so bad dude.... But at least you got it.. Insurance claim?

BMRbrnSNRbrd 07-07-2012 08:14 PM

Out of pocket.

ouch....

but by the time you paid for it on insurance, it would probably be pretty close to what you are paying anyway.

Did you ever post up pics of the damage? Hate to say, I wanted to see how bad it was.

BMRbrnSNRbrd 07-08-2012 06:49 AM

No, I never posted pics of the damage...the pics I could get now won't show it well anyway because I pushed some of it out just to lessen the kick in the nuts I get every time I look at it.

Sucks, but at least youre getting it taken care of. Feel your pain, remember when mine got keyed?

BMRbrnSNRbrd 07-08-2012 02:03 PM

Yeah buddy...I remember that.

The only thing I'm REALLY worried about is that it's getting painted off the truck...so the tone or metallic could be off and make it really look bad.

MG isn't an overly hard one to match up with.

Hopefully your painter is getting a good read off of your truck to mix the paint with.

We didn't blend the paint on my hood......and my painter was VERY leary about it. We took a reading (he works at the paint store) and there were 16 variations of my color. Great.......he matched one that was as close as possible. If you know what you are looking for, you can see it. 99.5% of people can't see it though. :rockit:
